Ergs, what are they like?
Rowing machine adapted,
Paddle, rope, pulleys.

Paddling on land,
Water nowhere within sight,
Can't see anyway!

Seat moves to and fro,
Only needed if you row,
We are PADDLERS.

Big fan at the front,
Provides resistance for us,
Feels more like water.

Intense speed and pull,
Trying hard to beat the clock,
MEI BEAT THE MACHINES!

Now, what do we do?
Time to get new rope for both,
Dragonsports will fix.

Marla has the parts!,
Replacement ropes in box, WHERE?
Where is manual?

More Erg's in 3 weeks,
We'll be ready for them now,
They'll be ready too!

Back in boats again,
More endurance, more power,
Never ending quest.

Leaving computer,
Closing the Haiku for now,
I'll be back again!
