My Salem Haikus

Racing in Salem.
my favorite place to race.
Second Division!

A beautiful Day.
First race was  one forty eight.
Second was strong too.

Then came our final.
Sinc & swim, they sank and stayed.
delaying our race.

We waited a while,
rescued paddlers reraced.
Finally our turn.

We gave it our all.
The race was so very close.
One second from first.

So now off to Kent.
What adventures will we have?
Perhaps gold medal?
